A simple mod allowing the player to tame Axolotls!
Is this compatible with X other axolotl mod?
As of current observance, this mod is fully compatible with other axolotl mods such as More Axolotl Variants Mod
What do they do?
The tamed axolotls will follow their owner in the water and even teleport to their owner if there is an open water area to do so. Taming them does not prevent their urge to fight along side the player against the monsters of the depths like the guardians.
How do I tame them already???
Simply feed your little water critter tropical fish. It's that easy!

How to Install AxoAmigos (Mod)
AxoAmigos by Ramixin is verified for Fabric across Minecraft versions 1.20, 1.20.1, 1.20.2, 1.20.3, 1.20.4, 1.20.5, 1.20.6, 1.21 (latest release: 0.0.2, file size: 17 KB). Follow the steps below to install it safely from ModCraft.tv:
- Click the Download button above and select your Minecraft version (1.20, 1.20.1, 1.20.2, 1.20.3, 1.20.4, 1.20.5, 1.20.6, 1.21) and platform (Fabric).
- Make sure you have the compatible loader or environment installed for Fabric.
- Move the downloaded AxoAmigos file into your Minecraft
.minecraft/modsfolder and launch the game.

- Fixed infinite interaction with axolotl after taming
- Allowed the axolotl to fight with the player
- Shortened the distance the axolotl needs to be to teleport to the player
- Prevented natural aggression when tamed
