📖 About Balanced Crates: This mod adds new vanilla-friendly crate blocks. Crates have large amounts of storage compared to single chests. Crates can also be used as building blocks/decorations. Crates are designed to be vanilla-friendly chest alternatives that allow compact storage. Crates come in every wood type.
📦Storage: While a single chest has 27 slots, crates have 66 slots of inventory space! This allows for highly compacted storage. Right-clicking on a create will manually open it, allowing any player to take from, it's inventory, A player will be able to tell if a create is open when the top lid is removed. A crate can be closed by pressing the "Close Crate" button within the crate's GUI.
📚Decoration: Crates can easily be used as decorative blocks in many situations. a crate's texture is based upon what wood type is used to craft it, giving the player more option when building with wood. A crate can also be rotated much like a furnace, allowing the player to create patterns. A crate's open state can also be used in many ways.
⚒️Redstone: Being storage blocks, crates can be used in place of a chest in any Redstone situation where a Chest might be needed. This allows for higher amounts of storage and enables the player to make much more compact machines.

How to Install Balanced Crates (Mod)
Balanced Crates by licitlettuce is verified for Forge, Neoforge across Minecraft versions 1.19.2, 1.19.4, 1.20.1, 1.21.1, 1.21.4 (latest release: 1.8.2.1.21.4, file size: 1.1 MB). Follow the steps below to install it safely from ModCraft.tv:
- Click the Download button above and select your Minecraft version (1.19.2, 1.19.4, 1.20.1, 1.21.1, 1.21.4) and platform (Forge, Neoforge).
- Make sure you have the compatible loader or environment installed for Forge, Neoforge.
- Move the downloaded Balanced Crates file into your Minecraft
.minecraft/modsfolder and launch the game.

New Crate Block
The new default crate block can be crafted with any logs. In the recipe sticks are used in place of wooden slabs. This allows players to make crates with any wood (including modded ones).
New Crate Recipes
Birch, Jungle, and Dark Oak Crates have a fresh coat of paint. Their textures have been updated to make them more unique compared to their counterparts.

Every Crate Now Has a New GUI Which Features a Taller Design To Appeal More To The Vanilla Container Layout.
