Basins are a small, rare terrain feature that strips away the top layer of a biome's surface, leaving a stony floor. This makes the minecraft world feel more alive and gives it some age.
Due to a bug they stopped generating in 1.18. This mod/datapack adds them back to worldgeneration, fixing the issue
How to Install Basin Generation Fix (Datapack)
Basin Generation Fix by PizzaEight is verified for Datapack, Fabric, Forge, Neoforge, Quilt across Minecraft versions 1.21, 1.21.10, 1.21.5, 1.21.6, 1.21.7, 1.21.8, 1.21.9 (latest release: 1.0+mod, file size: 1.3 MB). Follow the steps below to install it safely from ModCraft.tv:
- Click the Download button above and select your Minecraft version (1.21, 1.21.10, 1.21.5, 1.21.6, 1.21.7, 1.21.8, 1.21.9) and platform (Datapack, Fabric, Forge, Neoforge, Quilt).
- Make sure you have the compatible loader or environment installed for Datapack, Fabric, Forge, Neoforge, Quilt.
- Move the downloaded Basin Generation Fix file into your Minecraft
.minecraft/saves/<world>/datapacksfolder and launch the game.
