Boat Hud
A Fabric mod that adds a HUD specifically for boating. Licensed under Unlicense.
This HUD displays some information useful for boating such as drift angle and speed, and additionally can also drift the camera to make boating smoother.
This mod needs Cloth Config. To configure, you need Mod Menu.

This is a major update to BoatHud and contains the following changes:
Enabling the look-ahead camera will have your player character look closer on the direction that the boat they ride travels in, and is disabled by default. There are settings which you can change to make the look-ahead behavior closer to your preferences. This feature was added in response to [bstn's original implementation](https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/boatcam) becoming outdated and unusable in relation to Minecraft itself. Thank you so much for the experience provided over the years!
This version was compiled against Minecraft 1.21.6 and is compatible up to Minecrat 1.21.10, and requires Fabric Loader (or equivalent), Fabric API (or equivalent) and Cloth Config.
- Added look-ahead camera and respective options. This behavior is disabled by default.
- Update mappings from Fabric Yarn to Mojang official mappings, to no change in gameplay.

This is a bug fix for BoatHud.
- The colors on the speed bar are now proportionally correct to the speeds they represent. While this is not a breaking change for resource packs, it's still a good idea to check if the proportions of the colors on your speed bar match the new version, if you have a resource pack.

This is a minor update to BoatHud. If you have a resource pack that changes the graphics, please update it.
- Made the displays smoother by updating every frame instead of every tick.
- Added Russian translation (thanks Felix14-v2 on GitHub!)
- BoatHud now **requires** Minecraft 1.18 and Java 17, just housekeeping.
