CobblemonPlaceholders

Requires Fabric Kotlin Enviroment Server

A Fabric server-sided mod that adds placeholders for the Cobblemon mod! Supports both MiniPlaceholders and TextPlaceholderAPI. Includes many useful placeholders for Pokemon species, player Party Pokemon, the PokeDex, Molang queries, and more.

Installation

  1. Download the latest version of the mod from Modrinth.
  2. Download all required dependencies:
  3. Download one of the supported placeholder mod:
  4. Install the mod and dependencies into your server's mods folder.
  5. Configure the config file in the ./config/cobblemonplaceholders/config.json file.
  6. Use the placeholders! See Placeholders for more information.

How to Install Cobblemon Placeholders (Mod)

Cobblemon Placeholders by Stampede is verified for Fabric across Minecraft versions 1.20.1, 1.21.1 (latest release: 1.4.0, file size: 1.1 MB). Follow the steps below to install it safely from ModCraft.tv:

  1. Click the Download button above and select your Minecraft version (1.20.1, 1.21.1) and platform (Fabric).
  2. Make sure you have the compatible loader or environment installed for Fabric.
  3. Move the downloaded Cobblemon Placeholders file into your Minecraft .minecraft/mods folder and launch the game.

  • Removed the pokedex_shinies_caught and pokedex_shinies_seen placeholders as they are not working as intended. They may return in the future if a workaround is found/made.
  • You may be able to use the placeholder that fetches a player statistics and use the Cobblemon statistic that tracks shiny catches. This is not a perfect replacement, but it may work for your use case.
  • Added party_scale_modifier placeholder that will fetch the value of a given Party Pokemon's scale modifier value (<cobblemon_party_scale_modifier:[slot]> / %cobblemon:party_scale_modifier [slot]%)
  • Added 2 new Pokemon Property related placeholders:
  • <cobblemon_party_property_has:[slot]:[property]>/%cobblemon:party_property_has [slot]:[property]% - Checks a player's Party Pokemon in the specified slot for the given property and returns true or false depending. Ex: <cobblemon_party_property_has:1:unbreedable=true>
  • <cobblemon_party_property_get:[slot]:[property]>/%cobblemon:party_property_get [slot]:[property]% - Gets the value of the given property for the player's Party Pokemon in the specified slot. Ex: <cobblemon_party_property_get:1:unbreedable>
  • Added an alias party_tradeable for party_tradable placeholder
  • Fixed the species_abilities placeholder returning bad results for slots 1 and 2 sometimes. These slots were not being filtered for non-hidden abilitites, so they would sometimes return the hidden ability.

  • Moved Molang functions behind a "unsafe": false" config option
