A lightweight, client-side Minecraft Fabric mod that helps you find your items after death by placing a marker at your death location.
Features
- Despawn Timer: Shows exactly how much time is left before your items despawn (mimics Minecraft's 5-minute item timer).
- Distance Tracking: Displays the precise distance to your death location in meters.
- Auto-Clear: Naturally disappears once you reach your items.
Configuration
If you have ModMenu and Cloth Config installed, you can customize almost everything:
- Colors: Change the color of the skull, timer, and distance text using a built-in color picker.
- Behavior: Adjust how close you need to be for the marker to clear or when it should start shrinking.

Installation
- Install Fabric Loader.
- Drop the
deathmarker.jarinto yourmodsfolder. - (Optional but Recommended) Install Cloth Config API and ModMenu for configuration support.

How to Install DeathMarker (Mod)
DeathMarker by Unknown is verified for Fabric across Minecraft versions 1.20, 1.20.1, 1.20.2, 1.20.3, 1.20.4, 1.20.5, 1.20.6, 1.21 (latest release: v1.0.0-1.21-fabric, file size: 122 KB). Follow the steps below to install it safely from ModCraft.tv:
- Click the Download button above and select your Minecraft version (1.20, 1.20.1, 1.20.2, 1.20.3, 1.20.4, 1.20.5, 1.20.6, 1.21) and platform (Fabric).
- Make sure you have the compatible loader or environment installed for Fabric.
- Move the downloaded DeathMarker file into your Minecraft
.minecraft/modsfolder and launch the game.
