🧪 DivinityEconomy 4.0.0-arclight (26.2) – Experimental 🧪

This is an experimental build for hybrid servers (Arclight and similar). It is the 4.0.0 release plus modded item support, published as a separate jar so it can be tested without affecting the main release. It is not a replacement for
DivinityEconomy-4.0.0.jar
until it has been proven on a real hybrid server.

📦 Build Details

Jar:
DivinityEconomy-4.0.0-arclight.jar

Plugin version (
plugin.yml
/ Maven):
4.0.0-arclight
. This is the version shown by
/plugins
, in the startup banner, via PlaceholderAPI and on bStats.

Plugin name: still
DivinityEconomy
, so the data folder, permissions, placeholders and
depend
entries of other plugins are unchanged. Do not run this jar alongside the normal one; they are the same plugin.

Config version (
Main.Version
in
config.yml
): still
4.0.0
. This is the config schema version used by the migration system, which only understands numeric versions, so it must not carry the label.

Based on: 4.0.0 (Minecraft 26.2, Java 25 required).

Source: branch
experiment/arclight-modded
, built on YouniorPL's "Arclight Patch" (#79).

⚠️ Upgrade Notes ⚠️

Back up your plugin folder first. The plugin will add entries to
materials.yml
and
materialAliases.yml
and a
Commands.Admin.Modded
setting to
config.yml
.

You can go back to the normal jar. Imported modded entries are left in
materials.yml
and are harmless on a server that doesn't have those materials (they are skipped).

On servers that do not expose modded materials to Bukkit (plain Paper/Spigot) this build behaves like 4.0.0; the scan finds nothing.

➕ What's New ➕

Modded Item Import

About 10 seconds after startup (hybrid servers register mod items late), and whenever an admin runs
/modded
, the plugin scans for materials outside the
minecraft
namespace and adds new ones to
materials.yml
.

New items are imported banned (
ALLOWED: false
) with
QUANTITY: 0
. Nothing is tradable until you set it up, e.g.
/banitem <item> false
plus
/setstock
and
/setvalue
.

A short alias is created automatically (
cobblemon:mago_berry
becomes
mago_berry
). Aliases never replace an existing alias or item.

Entries already in
materials.yml
whose mod wasn't loaded yet are skipped, then picked up by the next scan with their settings intact.

Unresolved materials are never in the market, so they can't be bought or sold.

Only blocks/items are supported. Modded potions, entities and enchants are not.

/modded
Command

Rescans for modded items on demand. Setting:
Commands.Admin.Modded
. Permission:
de.admin.modded
(operators by default, included in
de.admin
).

Localisation

All modded-item messages are available in all 20 languages. The translations are machine-generated and should be reviewed by native speakers.

🛠️ Changes From The Original Patch 🛠️

Strict item validation: no stone placeholder for unresolved modded items.

Only the block/item manager imports modded items; the potion and entity managers no longer run the scan.

Dotted IDs such as
mod:item.v2
are stored as
mod:item_v2
(the real ID is kept in
MATERIAL_ID
) so Bukkit doesn't split them into nested sections. Colliding keys are skipped and logged.

Imported items and aliases are preserved across reloads and restarts.
ConfigUpdater
removes any key that isn't in the bundled files on every load, which would otherwise wipe them.

Alias saving is serialised and goes through the Bukkit scheduler instead of a raw thread.

The ConfigUpdater dependency is kept, and the original patch's version bump and committed IDE files are dropped.

🧪 Testing Status 🧪

Automated: the full suite (178 tests) passes. A simulated hybrid server (a fake modded-material provider) covers import, aliases, dotted IDs, collisions, late-loading mods,
/banitem
, potion/entity isolation and reload survival.

Not yet verified on a real Arclight server. The simulation checks this plugin's logic, not how Arclight populates Bukkit's material registry.

Please test

Start with a few mods installed. About 10 seconds after startup, check the console for "Importing modded material" lines.

Confirm
materials.yml
and
materialAliases.yml
contain the new entries (banned, quantity 0).

Enable one with
/banitem <alias> false
, set stock and price, then buy and sell it.

Restart and confirm the entries, settings and aliases are still there.

Add another mod, run
/modded
, and confirm only the new items are imported.

⚠️ Known Limitations ⚠️

Imported items have no stock or price until an admin sets them (the Static pricing model also needs
PRICE
). They use the default
ELASTICITY
of 0.7.

The server software must expose modded items through Bukkit's
Material
.

See
Documents/modded-items.md
for the developer guide and the README's "Modded Items" section for the admin guide.

🚀 DivinityEconomy 4.0.0 (26.2) 🚀

⚠️ Upgrade Notes ⚠️

Java 25 is now required. The plugin is compiled for Java 25 and will not load on older runtimes.

Minecraft 26.2 is required. This release targets the 26.2 API.

Regenerate or update your
config.yml
. The config format has changed: each market (Materials, Potions, Entities, Enchants, Experience) now has its own
Enable
,
Base Quantity
,
Buy/Sell Scaling
and
Pricing Model
settings. Back up your existing file, then let the plugin update it or delete it to regenerate, and re-apply your customisations.

➕ Features & Updates ➕

New Pricing Model System

You can now choose between four different pricing models for your server's economy:

V1 (Linear): The original pricing model with a simple inverse relationship between supply and price.

V2 (Elasticity): An improved model using logarithmic supply-demand curves for more realistic price movements. This is the recommended model for most servers.

STATIC (Fixed): Prices remain constant regardless of supply and demand. This is useful for servers that want stable, predictable pricing.

STATIC_BOTTOMLESS (Fixed, Infinite Supply): Like STATIC, prices stay constant, but quantities are not updated when players buy or sell. The market has unlimited supply and demand, so stock never runs out or builds up. Ideal for servers that want fully stable pricing with unlimited availability.

Granular Market Configuration

The markets for Potions and Entities can now be configured separately from Materials. Each market (Materials, Potions, Entities, Enchants, Experience) has its own settings for
Enable
,
Base Quantity
,
Buy/Sell Scaling
, and
Pricing Model
in the
config.yml
.

Direct Price Setting with
/setprice

A new command alias
/setprice
(for
/setvalue
) has been added. When using the
STATIC
pricing model, this command now directly sets the fixed price for an item, rather than adjusting its stock quantity.

Balanced Experience Market

The buy and sell scaling for the experience market has been re-balanced. You may need to regenerate your
config.yml
to see these changes (
Buy Scaling: 1.25
,
Sell Scaling: 1.20
).

Updated to Minecraft 26.2

DivinityEconomy is now fully compatible with Minecraft version 26.2.

New Market Items (1.21.11 – 26.2)

The markets have been brought fully up to date with Minecraft 26.2. Only items players can actually obtain were added (technical blocks such as wall signs, crops and fluids are intentionally excluded):

26.2 Sulfur Caves: Sulfur, Potent Sulfur and Cinnabar, each with polished, brick, chiseled, stair, slab and wall variants, plus Sulfur Spike, Bucket of Sulfur Cube, Music Disc "Bounce" and the Sulfur Cube spawn egg/spawner.

Spears & Nautilus Armor: Wooden through Netherite Spears, Copper/Iron/Golden/Diamond/Netherite Nautilus Armor, Copper and Netherite Horse Armor, plus the Nautilus, Zombie Nautilus, Parched and Camel Husk spawn eggs/spawners.

Copper Age: Copper tools & armor, Copper Nuggets, Copper Torch, and the full oxidised and waxed ranges of Chiseled Copper, Copper Bars, Chains, Doors, Trapdoors, Lanterns, Grates, Bulbs, Chests, Golem Statues and Lightning Rods. Also Iron Chain and Tuff slabs, stairs, walls and chiselled variants.

Garden & Wood: Shelves (every wood type), Pale Oak extras, Pale Moss Block, Pale Hanging Moss, Bush, Firefly Bush, Dry Grass, Wildflowers, Leaf Litter, Cactus Flower, Golden Dandelion.

Misc: Happy Ghast Harnesses (all colours), Dried Ghast, Wolf Armor, coloured Bundles, Blue/Brown Eggs, Resin Brick, Chiseled Resin Bricks, new Banner Patterns, Armor Trims, Pottery Sherds and the "Tears", "Creator (Music Box)" and "Lava Chicken" music discs.

Enchants: Lunge (the new spear enchantment).

All new spawn eggs and spawners are disabled by default, like all other spawners/spawn eggs - enable and price them via
config.yml
/
entities.yml
/
materials.yml
as needed.

Aliases for All New Items

Every newly added item, spawner and the Lunge enchant has aliases, so players can type natural names such as
/buy oakshelf
,
/buy coppergolemstatue
or
/value sulfurcubecage
. Duplicate or conflicting aliases from earlier versions (such as repeated Relic disc and Breeze entries) have also been cleaned up.

Display Names in All 20 Languages

Every newly added item, spawner, spawn egg and the Lunge enchant now has a proper display name in all 20 supported languages, instead of showing its raw ID. New translations are machine-generated, so corrections are very welcome.

Automated Test Suite

The project now includes an automated test suite covering commands, the pricing models and the experience market, to help catch regressions in future releases.

Updated Dependencies

Bumped project dependencies alongside the 26.2 update:

🪲 Bug Fixes 🪲

Static means Static

Fixed an issue whereby disabling dynamic prices (by using the STATIC model) could still produce dynamic results.

Fixed Invalid Potion & Entity Entries

Healing, Harming, Leaping, Regeneration and Swiftness potions (and their splash, lingering and tipped arrow forms) used outdated potion type names that no longer exist and could not load. The Mooshroom and Snow Golem spawners had the same problem with entity names. All have been corrected.

Fixed Invalid Material Entries

Replaced
SHELF
,
HANGING_PALE_MOSS
and
GHASTLING_SPAWN_EGG
with their correct material names (
*_SHELF
,
PALE_HANGING_MOSS
); Ghastlings have no spawn egg.

Fixed
/evalue
for Non-Sword Enchants

/evalue
always valued enchants against a diamond sword, so enchants that don't apply to swords (such as Lunge, Efficiency or Power) reported "not supported on this item". It now reports the correct buy and sell value for every enchant. A related bug that showed the buy error in place of the sell error has also been fixed.

Fixed Locale Names

Corrected the Wind Charged potion names (they were keyed as
WIND_CHARGE_*
so never matched), replaced the stale
CHAIN
entry with
IRON_CHAIN
, fixed Brazilian Portuguese Cooked Rabbit (a mistyped key), and fixed an Arabic entry with unescaped quotes that was invalid YAML and could stop the Arabic language file from loading. Servers already using Arabic should delete
locale/ar_SA.yml
so it regenerates with the fix.

Fixed Shutdown Errors

Addressed errors that occurred during server shutdown, ensuring a smoother and error-free shutdown process.

Fixed Command Permission Messages

Corrected a typo (
permission-messaage
) in
plugin.yml
that stopped the no-permission message from being applied to the enchant and experience commands.

Fixed
/esellall
Permission

The
de.enchant.eSellAll
permission is now properly declared (default: true) and included in the enchant permission group.

🚀 DivinityEconomy 3.5.0 (1.21) 🚀

➕ Updates ➕

Improved Potion System

In the latest update, the config values relating to
POTION_EXTENDED
and
POTION_UPGRADED
have been made obsolete.

Potions now store all of their information in the
POTION_TYPE
, changing from
POISON
to
LONG_POISON
or
STRONG_POISON
.

This required a large internal change and has an automatic migration, this will run on startup to try and introduce all of these new types!

Improved Hand Value

Hand value now shows both the value of the item and the enchants on it!

This will only show the value of the enchants if there are any present on the item.

New Placeholders!

The following new placeholders have been added:

%de_hand_value_total%
- Returns the total value of the item in the player's hand

%de_hand_value_material%
- Returns the material value of the item in the player's hand

%de_hand_value_enchant%
- Returns the enchant value of the item in the player's hand

Version Migrations

Added a version migration system to improve the transition between version upgrades in the future.

🪲 Bug Fixes 🪲

Fixed bugs relating to items not being present in the market when using hand-based commands.

Fixed bugs relating to using /value and /handvalue that meant items were not stackable.

Fixed bugs relating to the purchase and sale of potions.

🚀 DivinityEconomy 3.4.1 (1.20.6 ONLY) 🚀

This version is identical to 3.4.0 - This is a recompile using Java 21.

➕ Updates ➕

1.20.6

We have updated the plugin to 1.20.6. Although, you can still get the 1.20.4 version of the plugin by downloading 3.3.1.

The 1.20.6 version will use API version 1.20, and only work on 1.20.6 servers.

This version temporarily drops the support for Placeholder API.

Item Changes

The following item names have changed:

Enchant 'Sweeping' -> Sweeping Edge

Material 'Scute' -> Armadillo Scute & Turtle Scute.

🔌 Placeholder API Note 🔌

Traditionally, DivinityEconomy includes Placeholder API variables; however, in the current release, this feature is missing due to lack of support from Placeholder API in version 1.20.6. If server owners elect to enable this feature, they must install Placeholder API alongside DivinityEconomy. The support for Placeholder API would have extended DivinityEconomy's customization possibilities and versatility, allowing server owners to develop even more captivating and immersive economic experiences. Unfortunately, the absence of this feature in the current release limits these customization options.

🚀 DivinityEconomy 1.20 - Comprehensive Overhaul (RC3.0) 🚀

Greetings Minecraft enthusiasts! 🎮 We're thrilled to announce the forthcoming round of updates for our revolutionary DivinityEconomy plugin: The Overhaul Update RC3.0 This update is all about performance and compatibility. Fixing previous issues with Vault and PlaceholderAPI and issues with slowdown. Let's take a look at what's new in this update:

🌟 What's New? 🌟

💾 Vault Dependency 💾

DivinityEconomy now relies on the widely adopted plugin, Vault. A requirement for DivinityEconomy's functionality, Vault fosters a seamless integration with various economy plugins 🔁
Acquire Vault Here 📥

📦 Esellall 📦

This remarkable new command permits users to vend all enchantments from their inventory. It operates akin to /sellall, accepting either a whitelist or a blacklist of items to vend from 📋.

🏷️ Named/Lored Items 🏷️

We've introduced the capability to omit both named and lored items in the plugin configuration 🔧.

💬 New Placeholders 💬

We've incorporated a few new placeholders, inclusive of the ability to determine the value of experience points, for both buying and selling 💸.

🔓 New Items 🔓

We've ascribed values to and enabled the following items 📦:

 • Decorated Pottery 🏺
• Brush 🖌️
• Pitcher Flower & Buds 🌺
• Pink Petals 🌸
• Piglin Head 🐷
• Relic Music Disc 🎵
• New Infested Blocks 🐜
• Chiseled Bookshelf 📚
• Calibrated Sculk Sensor 📡
• Pottery Sherds 🏺
• All Bamboo Blocks 🎍
• Torch Flower & Seeds 🌻
• Armour Trim Templates 🛡️
• All Hanging-Sign Blocks 🪧
• All Cherry Tree Blocks 🌳

In addition, we've added the following items to the default blacklist 🚫:

 • All 1.20 Spawn Eggs 🥚
• All 1.20 Spawners 💥

Finally, we've removed certain non-functioning potion types 🧪.

🚀 Plugin Acceleration 🚀

We've dedicated considerable time to enhancing the algorithms and functions for increased speed 🏎️.

Furthermore, we've implemented LRU Caching algorithms to 'searchable' components of the plugin to expedite the tab completion aspect ✔️.

We've also incorporated asynchronous caching algorithms to minimise plugin slowdown when reliant on slower functions. This improvement was particularly evident for baltop and player searching functions 🕵️‍♂️.

Most asynchronous tasks initiate directly from startup, implying that the waiting period for certain features, like baltop, to appear on plugin startup has been eliminated ⏱️.

This significantly improves plugin speed when searching through materials, enchantments, potions, players and more 🔍.

👍 Enhanced Error & Success Messages 👍

We've upgraded numerous messages throughout the plugin to be more precise, visually appealing, and descriptive 💬.

💰 Vault Banking 💰

We've introduced vault banking, implying that DivinityEconomy now supports Vault-Compatible banks 🏦.

💾 Backups 💾

We've incorporated player and bank file backups. In case the primary file fails to save or becomes corrupted, a backup will automatically load (if available) 🔁.

🔧 Tweaks 🔧

🚀 Optimised Save Files 🚀

We've optimised player save files to exclude excessively large decimal values. Additionally, we've removed player balance logs from save files, thereby improving save time and reducing plugin size 💾.

💼 Vault & PlaceholderAPI 💼

We've updated our internal logic to fully support Vault, and we've rectified PlaceholderAPI 🛠️.

🤑 Baltop Tweaks 🤑

Baltop has changed to /listbalances. You can still use /baltop, however, I have run into issues with this command alias not allowing you to enter page numbers. Use /listbalances for that feature.

The permission node has changed from
de.money.baltop
to
de.money.listbalances

🐞 Fixes 🐞

🔁 Duplicate Help Messages 🔁

We've remedied a bug that caused repetitive help messages to be displayed when utilising the help system 🛠️.

🔄 Fixed Balance Rounding 🔄

We've resolved a bug that resulted in player balances being rounded up. This often led to an overdraft error when trying to transfer the entire balance. This will no longer occur 🛠️.

🚀 DivinityEconomy 1.20 - The Experience Update 🚀

Hello Minecraft enthusiasts! 😄 We're absolutely thrilled to announce the latest update to our revolutionary DivinityEconomy plugin, the Experience Update. This update introduces a host of changes and improvements, making your in-game economy experience even more immersive and exciting! Let's dive into the details. 🎉

🆕 What's New? 🆕

Updated to Minecraft 1.20 (RC1.0)

We have updated the DivinityEconomy plugin to support the latest version of Minecraft, 1.20, keeping up with the most recent advancements in the Minecraft server world. We've updated materials, potions, entities and enchantments to 1.20. Everything is now in sync with the latest Minecraft version. 🎮

Experience Trading (RC1.0)

The new /xpsell and /xpbuy commands allow you to sell and buy experience. It's called the Experience Update for a reason! 🎓

Enchantment Trading (RC1.0)

You can now buy and sell enchantments directly to and from books. It's an enchanting improvement, wouldn't you agree? ✨

Enhanced Selling Mechanics (RC1.0)

Now, when selling items, enchanted items are skipped! This means if you're selling a batch of items, those pesky enchanted ones won't block the sale of your other items. No more interruptions to your selling spree! 👌

"Max" Buying Option (RC1.0)

The buy command now accepts "max" as a purchasing amount. Want to buy as much as possible? Just type "max" and you're good to go! 🙌

✍️ Tweaks ✍️

Scaling Changes (RC1.0)

We have drastically reduced the scaling applied to transactions. This means that exchanged values are much less, making it easier to integrate with your existing plugins. We reccommend taking caution when adding this plugin to your server, as it may affect your market.

Easy Enchant Buying and Selling (RC1.0)

The /Ebuy and /Esell commands no longer explicitly require a quantity. If you don't specify a quantity, it will simply default to 1. Handy, isn't it? 🛒

Improved Tooltips (RC1.0)

The tooltips for the /ebuy and /esell commands have been given a polish. Clearer and more detailed, they'll make your enchanting transactions smoother than ever. 💡

Value Information with Max Buying/Selling (RC1.0)

Using /Sell or /buy with "max" will now provide value information. More information means smarter trading! 💼

Updated Experience Scaling and Base Quantities (RC1.1)

We've updated the default experience market scaling and base quantity, as experience was previously extremely over-valued, this has been rectified.

🛠️ Fixes 🛠️

Item Count Storage (RC1.0)

We've switched the storage of item counts from int to long. This resolves any division issues with large numbers of items in the market. No more maths headaches! 🧮

Fixed Default Buy/Sell Scaling (RC1.0)

We've patched up the default buy/sell scaling in the configuration. Just another tweak to improve your experience. 🔧

Enchanted Items Bug Fix (RC1.1)

We've fixed an issue with /sellall and /sell preventing the sale of items if enchanted items were in your inventory.

Fixed Missing Permissions For Experience Commands In Plugin.yml (RC1.1)

We've fixed an issue with missing permission nodes for the /xpbuy and /xpsell command.
