Prevents sprint being toggled back off on respawn after a death, given that the player is using toggle sprint. This behaviour was changed in Minecraft 1.20, and it is inconvenient for minigames with lots of death. If your sprint is not set to toggle, it has no impact.
Does not yet work with immediate respawn.
The mod works by simulating the keypress to sprint as soon as you move on respawn, if you had sprint toggled on when you died. Report issues on the GitHub!
How to Install Don't Untoggle Sprint (Mod)
Don't Untoggle Sprint by whimsicalities is verified for Fabric across Minecraft versions 1.20.1, 1.20.2, 1.20.4, 1.21, 1.21.1 (latest release: 1.6.0, file size: 35 KB). Follow the steps below to install it safely from ModCraft.tv:
- Click the Download button above and select your Minecraft version (1.20.1, 1.20.2, 1.20.4, 1.21, 1.21.1) and platform (Fabric).
- Make sure you have the compatible loader or environment installed for Fabric.
- Move the downloaded Don't Untoggle Sprint file into your Minecraft
.minecraft/modsfolder and launch the game.
