EMI Compat (Client-side)
A compatibility layer bringing enhanced EMI support to various Fabric mods.
Features
This mod provides recipe categories and logic for:
- Ad Astra: View NASA Workbench recipes directly in EMI, with additional support for the Automated NASA Workbench (when Ad Astra: Giselle Addon is installed).
- Chipped: Integrated support for all 8 Chipped workbenches (Alchemy Bench, Botanist Workbench, Carpenter's Table, Glassblower, Loom Table, Mason Table, Mechanist Workbench, and Tinkering Table), allowing you to see block variants and recipe tags directly in EMI.
- Spell Engine: Full EMI support for the Spell Binding Table and Book-to-Spellbook binding recipes, featuring spell tier visualization (Roman numerals), XP costs/requirements, Lapis Lazuli requirements, and bookshelf counters.
- Things: EMI crafting recipes for Socks speed upgrades (Level 0 -> 1 and Level 1 -> 2) and Jumpy Socks upgrades.

All Versions
+ Add Version### Added
- Spell Binding Bookshelf Layout**: New EMI page with a 3D preview of the 18-shelf max-power layout around the Spell Binding Table (two layers, three sides, no corners). Drag to rotate, scroll over the view to zoom, and use the All / y=0 / y=1 buttons to show one layer at a time. Rotate and reset buttons sit in the top right.
- Bookshelf Button**: The bookshelf count on Spell Binding recipes is now a button that opens the layout page.
### Fixed
- The bookshelf count is no longer hidden behind the bookshelf icon.
### Fixed
- The Witch Cauldron from Enchanted now shows up under "how to craft" in EMI. It's made by applying Anointing Paste to a regular Cauldron, and that wasn't being picked up before.
### Changed
- Replaced reflection-based (
Class.forName) loading of the Chipped, Things, and Enchanted EMI compat modules with direct, compile-time registration, matching the existing Ad Astra and Spell Engine pattern. No behavior change — compat modules still only register when their target mod is loaded.
### Changed
- Moved optional compatibility-supported mods (
ad_astra,spell_engine,chipped,things, andenchanted) from strict dependencies (depends) to optional suggestions (suggests) infabric.mod.json.
### Added
- EMI recipe support for **Enchanted: Witchcraft** mod (conditional — only loads when the mod is present)
- Witch's Oven** — Byproduct recipes with fire animation and smelting output resolution
- Distillery** — Multi-output distilling recipes with bubbling and progress animations
- Spinning Wheel** — Multi-input spinning recipes with dual arrow animations
- Witch's Cauldron** — Cauldron brewing recipes with altar power display
- Kettle** — Kettle brewing recipes with altar power display
- Circle Magic** — Rite recipes with radial ingredient layout and dynamic chalk/glyph texture rendering
- Mutandis** — Block tag transformation recipes
- Mutandis Extremis** — Block tag transformation recipes
### Changed
- Unified EMI plugin entrypoint to conditionally load optional mod compat (Enchanted, Chipped, Things) — prevents crashes when optional mods are absent
### Added
- Things Mod Integration**: Added EMI support for "Socks" upgrades.
- Socks Speed Upgrades**: Visual recipes for Level 0 -> 1 and Level 1 -> 2 upgrades using Gleaming Powder and Potion of Swiftness.
- Jumpy Socks Upgrade**: Visual recipe for adding the Jumpy attribute using Gleaming Compound and Rabbit Foot Charm.
All notable changes to this project will be documented in this file.
