Extended Note Block
Extended Note Block is a Fabric mod dedicated to bringing a professional-grade music creation experience to Minecraft.
Key Features
- Extended Note Blocks: Support for MIDI pitch (0-127), velocity, sustain, delay, and fade control.
- Advanced Mode: Visualized volume and pitch envelope editing, plus mathematical expression-based sound source movement (
x,y,z,t). - Wireless Redstone: Global range Redstone signal transmission (Transmitter/Receiver).
- Conductor's Wand: Supports area selection and batch editing of Note Blocks within the selected region.
- Smooth Motion: Smooth movement commands that allow players to glide in a specific direction.
Installation
- Install Fabric Loader and Fabric API.
- Download Extended Note Block and place it in your
modsfolder. - (Optional) Carpet Mod is highly recommended.

How to Install ExtendedNoteBlock (Mod)
ExtendedNoteBlock by atemukesu is verified for Fabric across Minecraft versions 1.20.1, 1.21.1 (latest release: 1.9.1-1.21.1, file size: 20.1 MB). Follow the steps below to install it safely from ModCraft.tv:
- Click the Download button above and select your Minecraft version (1.20.1, 1.21.1) and platform (Fabric).
- Make sure you have the compatible loader or environment installed for Fabric.
- Move the downloaded ExtendedNoteBlock file into your Minecraft

## What's New?
Fix: Prevent sound from cutting out on the final tick of a fadeOut period (In fact, I don't know if it really solves this problem.)
The existing linear fade-out formula incorrectly calculated a volume of 0.0 on the last tick of the fade-out duration (when timeIntoFadeOut == fadeOutTicks), causing the sound to prematurely cut out one tick too early.
To fix this, the denominator in the fade-out progress calculation has been changed from fadeOutTicks to fadeOutTicks + 1. This ensures that the sound volume is attenuated smoothly towards the end but remains above 0.0 (e.g., 50% for a fadeOut=1 scenario) on the last active tick, preserving the full intended sound duration.

Introduces a new block state property,
This feature significantly enhances usability by making the block's settings instantly visible in the world.
Introduces a new block state property,
pitch, to the Extended Note Block. This allows the block to display unique textures based on its configured note (C, C#, D, etc.) and its redstone power state. The colored variants provide immediate visual feedback on the block's configuration without needing to open the GUI.This feature significantly enhances usability by making the block's settings instantly visible in the world.
- Note:** Blocks placed in versions prior to this update will retain their default appearance. To update their visual state to the correct color, they must be reactivated (e.g., by a redstone signal) or reconfigured through the GUI.
