I've never been satisfied with Minecraft's weather sounds, finding them either harsh, out of place, or just not all that enjoyable to listen to, so I made Gentler Weather Sounds! Gentler Weather Sounds replaces Minecraft's weather sounds with something that's more pleasant to listen to. It offers full replacement of rain and thunder/ lightning audio!
For just the rain sounds or just the lightning & thunder sounds, use Gentler Rain Sounds or Better Lightning Sounds, respectively!

Yes, please save as many people as you can from the horrid Vanilla rain sounds

Would you support modded weather?
I'm open to it, but it would have to have a default sound that I find annoying or out of place in Minecraft. At this time I'm not doing replacement for the sake of replacement. You can drop requests / suggestions in my Fluxer server.
