Higher Snow Lines
This simple mod raises the snow lines across all biomes (the elevation at which water freezes and snow forms) for better results with modified world generation beyond the vanilla world height.
Temperature dropoff rate affecting snow lines is hardcoded into the game and can't be changed by a datapack, so I made this a separate mod to deal with this. Try it with my other mod/datapack, AmpXtreme!
How to Install Higher Snow Lines (Mod)
Higher Snow Lines by santient is verified for Fabric across Minecraft versions 1.20.1, 1.21.1, 1.21.4, 1.21.6, 1.21.7, 1.21.8 (latest release: 1.0.4+mc1.21.8, file size: 43 KB). Follow the steps below to install it safely from ModCraft.tv:
- Click the Download button above and select your Minecraft version (1.20.1, 1.21.1, 1.21.4, 1.21.6, 1.21.7, 1.21.8) and platform (Fabric).
- Make sure you have the compatible loader or environment installed for Fabric.
- Move the downloaded Higher Snow Lines file into your Minecraft
.minecraft/modsfolder and launch the game.
