Know My Name
Mods like Optifine or Continuity enable resourcepack creators to change the texture of a block depending on it's custom name. xali's Enhanced Vanilla for example, retextures barrels to have different variants depending on their name.
This does not work with multiplayer servers out of the box, because after re-joining or for a different player then the one placing the barrel, the server does not tell the client the custom name of that barrel. This mod fixes this problem. (Hurray!)
How to Install Know My Name! (Mod)
Know My Name! by possible_triangle is verified for Fabric across Minecraft versions 1.18.2, 1.19, 1.19.2, 1.19.3, 1.19.4, 1.20, 1.20.1, 1.21.1 (latest release: 1.4.0, file size: 80 KB). Follow the steps below to install it safely from ModCraft.tv:
- Click the Download button above and select your Minecraft version (1.18.2, 1.19, 1.19.2, 1.19.3, 1.19.4, 1.20, 1.20.1, 1.21.1) and platform (Fabric).
- Make sure you have the compatible loader or environment installed for Fabric.
- Move the downloaded Know My Name! file into your Minecraft
.minecraft/modsfolder and launch the game.
