Mental Horror Project - Update 1.9.0r
  • The entire weapon system has been reworked: the popular TACZ mod has been replaced by JEG. Unlike the clean and modern guns in TACZ, weapons in JEG look scrappy, worn-out, and handmade, as if assembled from junk — fitting the post-apocalyptic horror atmosphere of the pack much better.

  • Introduced a new explosion system with the mod Explosion Overhaul: A New Level of Destruction. Explosions now have realistic sound delay, more destructive visuals, and physics that add immersion and tension.

  • Added a new parkour movement system with the Parcool! mod, enabling fluid movement mechanics for climbing, vaulting, and enhanced traversal.

  • All mods have been updated to their latest stable versions for better performance and compatibility.

  • New infected and mutated mobs have been added to the world be careful, not all monsters make noise before attacking.

  • Contaminated bunkers now spawn across the world, full of loot, environmental storytelling, and deadly traps.

  • The minimap and world map system has been streamlined: previous separate mods were replaced by the all-in-one solution JourneyMap.

  • New horror mods have been introduced, enhancing ambient fear, sound design, and unexpected encounters.

  • Vanilla animals now require field dressing before their meat can be used — adding survival realism and brutality to the experience.

  • Realistic blood effects have been implemented: mobs now bleed with physics-based blood splatter that drips from ceilings, dissolves in water, and stains walls.

  • The mods The Man From The Fog and Weather2 have been removed for performance, balance, and thematic reasons.
