Description
This datapack / mod adds chess to Minecraft
To get a board you need to craft it (1.20.5+) or enter this command /function chess:summon/summon
To make a move, you need to click on the figure, and then on the field you want to move to. The mod provides for a double move of the pawn, castling and capture en passant.
Command to change the style of figures:
/function chess:replace_figuresTo remove the board with figures you need to use the following two commands
/execute as @e[tag=bizcub.chess] on passengers run kill @s
/kill @e[tag=bizcub.chess]

How to Install MineChess (Datapack)
MineChess by BizCub is verified for Datapack, Fabric, Forge, Neoforge, Quilt across Minecraft versions 1.20.3, 1.20.3-pre1, 1.20.3-pre2, 1.20.3-pre3, 1.20.3-pre4, 1.20.3-rc1, 1.20.4, 1.20.4-rc1 (latest release: 1.1.3, file size: 302 KB). Follow the steps below to install it safely from ModCraft.tv:
- Click the Download button above and select your Minecraft version (1.20.3, 1.20.3-pre1, 1.20.3-pre2, 1.20.3-pre3, 1.20.3-pre4, 1.20.3-rc1, 1.20.4, 1.20.4-rc1) and platform (Datapack, Fabric, Forge, Neoforge, Quilt).
- Make sure you have the compatible loader or environment installed for Datapack, Fabric, Forge, Neoforge, Quilt.
- Move the downloaded MineChess file into your Minecraft
.minecraft/saves/<world>/datapacksfolder and launch the game.
