No Sneaking Over Magma!

environment: server

Makes magma deal damage even when players are crouching. Configurable.

Works server-side and in single player.

Inspired as the counterpart to Sneak Through Berries!

~~Why Mojang lets you sneak on literal magma but not through bushes... idk~~

Mojang might, but I don't!

Makes it so that you take damage on magma blocks even while sneaking.
Also includes options for damaging and setting fire to entities on magma.

Configuration

Supports MidnightLib and Mod Menu for configuration, but neither is required.

Versions before 1.7.0 support Cloth Config instead of MidnightLib.

Options will use their default values if MidnightLib is absent.

If MidnightLib is present, options can be configured either through Mod Menu or by editing config/no_sneaking_over_magma.json in your instance folder (.minecraft/ by default for the vanilla launcher).

Sneaking protects from magma; default: false
Frostwalker protects from magma; default: true
Magma damages non-living entities; default: false
Magma sets fire to entities; default: false

Translations

Install SSS Translate to automatically download new translations.
You can help translate No Sneaking Over Magma! on Crowdin.

This mod is only for Fabric (works on Quilt, too!) and I won't be porting it to Forge. The license is MIT, however, so anyone else is free to port it.

I'd appreciate links back to this page if you port or otherwise modify this project, but links aren't required.
