Description

Optimizations and Tweaks for FPS/TPS - Fix bugs and tweak various things to help optimize performance in Minecraft 1.7.10. This mod aims to smooth out gameplay and improve framerates through optimizations.

Incompatibilities

None known. Earlier versions clashed with ArchaicFix over MixinMapGenStructure; that mixin has been removed, so this mod now works with upstream ArchaicFix — the fork is no longer required.

  • Fix: world-exit crash (CodeChickenLib).** Leaving a world could crash with a NullPointerException in WorldExtensionManager.onChunkUnLoad (a longstanding CCL bug on worlds with no registered chunk-extension array). A mixin now null-guards that path — the crash is gone regardless of what triggered the unregistered world.
  • Internal: Rust native shared-crate refactor.** The three duplicated native FFI layers now share one crate (matoulib_native_shared) — cleaner panic-guard/logger/off-heap snapshot plumbing. Native libraries rebuilt for Linux, macOS (universal2), and Windows.
  • Experimental (off by default): zero-copy off-heap snapshot submit** for async pathfinding — a proof-of-concept behind an A/B flag; no behaviour change unless explicitly enabled.
