💎 OptiPlus Crystal
Zero-wait end crystal placement — now on Minecraft 1.20 through 26.2
What it does
OptiPlus Crystal removes the round-trip wait between clicking a block and seeing your end crystal appear. The instant you click a valid spot, a client-side "ghost" crystal is placed right away, so placement feels single-player-snappy no matter your ping. The real server crystal silently takes its place once it arrives.
No more waiting on the server to acknowledge your click, and no stuttery placement loops during crystal PvP.
Features
-
Instant, ping-independent end crystal placement
-
Client-side only — works on any server, nothing needed server-side
-
One jar for every version — it auto-detects your Minecraft version and just works
-
Lightweight, Fabric
Supported versions
A single jar now runs on Minecraft 1.20 → 26.2: 1.20, 1.20.1–1.20.6, 1.21–1.21.11, 26.1 and 26.2 (Fabric, client-side). Just drop it into your mods folder.
Server opt-out
Server admins can disable OptiPlus per-player by sending a plugin-message on one of these channels when a player joins:
-
optiplus:disable — disable everything
-
optiplus-crystal:disable — disable only the crystal optimization
The flag resets on disconnect.

All Versions
+ Add Version- Fixed: holding right-click could get into a place/break loop.** If you broke a predicted crystal before the server had spawned the real one, the attack went out with a client-only entity ID that the server ignored — leaving an invisible crystal occupying the block, so every re-placement was rejected. The attack is now re-sent against the real entity once it arrives.
- Fixed:** predicted explosions were built but never actually run, so the client-side explosion setting did nothing.
- Stale predicted positions now expire instead of lingering, so they can't interfere with a later crystal at the same spot.
Same coverage as before: **one jar for Minecraft 1.20 → 26.2**, the right hooks are picked automatically at launch.
- ~3x smaller download** — the jar went from ~358 KB to ~123 KB.
- The crystal jar is now **fully standalone**: it no longer bundles any respawn-anchor code.
- config/optiplus.json now only contains the section for the OptiPlus mod(s) you actually have installed.
- Safer config editing: deleting a setting from the file now falls back to its default instead of silently disabling the mod, and config writes are crash-safe.
- Same coverage as before: **one jar for Minecraft 1.20 → 26.2**, the right hooks are picked automatically at launch.
- New: support for 1.20–1.20.6 and 1.21–1.21.4, plus 26.2 (previously 1.21.5–1.21.11 and 26.1)
- Fixed: no sound when popping a crystal
- Settings now live in config/optiplus.json — toggle them without rebuilding
