OrePlant
The farmer's way to get metals: grow them.
OrePlant adds crops that grow ores. Craft a seed from nuggets, plant it on farmland, and harvest metal dust that crafts back into ingots and gems. It gives you a slow, renewable alternative to mining, ideal for farming-focused, peaceful and vanilla+ survival playthroughs on Fabric.
Crops
| Seed | Crafted from | Harvest |
|---|---|---|
| Iron Seed | 5 Iron Nuggets (X shape) | Iron Dust |
| Gold Seed | 5 Gold Nuggets (X shape) | Gold Dust |
| Diamond Seed | Diamond, Pumpkin Seeds, Gold Dust, Iron Dust, Gunpowder | Diamond Dust |
All recipes show up in the recipe book and in REI/EMI/JEI.
Processing
- 9 Iron Dust → 1 Iron Ingot
- 9 Gold Dust → 1 Gold Ingot
- 9 Diamond Dust → 1 Diamond
Mature ore crops also drop extra seeds, and Fortune increases the seed drop. They grow on farmland like wheat and accept bone meal.
Compatibility
- Fabric, with Fabric API required
- Works on both client and dedicated servers (install on both)
