Paradigm Essentials is a modular server administration suite for Minecraft.

Version: 2.5.0b

One Mod, all the features you need

Paradigm started because I needed a simple announcement mod for Forge (Thats why, older files are named "ForgeAnnouncements").

Then I needed another feature, and another. And eventually I got tired of installing a bunch of different mods just to do different things, each with its own configs, commands and way of working.

So Paradigm slowly became the mod I wanted to have from the start: server administration, communication and automation in one place.

And lately, that is also part of the goal. Give smaller servers and networks access to the kind of tools you usually see on much bigger modded networks, without needing a whole team of developers behind them.

Local Server/Network Dashboard

Paradigm includes a built-in local web dashboard for server administration and configuration.

  • Configuration editors for each module No external panel required. It runs with your server all localy.

dasboard_local_beta

Server Administration

A collection of familiar server management and essential :3 commands (Inspired by EssentialsX Plugin).

  • /home and /back
  • /tpa

And plenty of admin utilities:

/vanish, /god, /invsee, /repair, /enchant, /sudo, /near, /whois, /top, /jump, /jump

Most built-in commands can be individually enabled or disabled.

Built-In Permissions & Groups

Paradigm includes its own permission and group system.

  • Create and manage permission groups
  • Group inheritance
  • Prefixes, suffixes, weights, and descriptions
  • Direct player permissions
  • Explicit allow and deny nodes
  • Temporary permissions and group assignments

Already using LuckPerms? Paradigm also includes LuckPerms migration tools for importing or exporting permission data.

Moderation Tools

Standard Commands for Moderating Players

  • Punishment history
  • Active punishment tracking
  • Server and network punishment scopes (for Network bans , using MySQL)

Communication Tools

Keep players and staff connected without needing another chat mods.

  • Private messages with /msg and reply
  • Player mentions using @PlayerName (inspired by discord mention system)
  • Staff chat /sc
  • Private group chats /groupchat
  • CUSTOM Join and leave messages

Private Messages

Server Announcements

Create scheduled and richly (RGB Support) formatted server announcements.

  • Chat broadcasts
  • Actionbar messages
  • Titles and subtitles
  • Bossbars
  • Independent schedules
  • Random message rotation
  • Interactive text components (Hover, click, command)

Announcements

Rich Message Formatting

Paradigm includes its own message formatting system (inspired by mini message format) for supported messages and editors.

  • Minecraft colors
  • Hex colors (&#RRGGBB)
  • Gradients and styled text

In-Game MOTD

MOTD & Server List Customization

Make the server a little prettier before players even join.

  • Dynamic server-list MOTDs
  • Custom server icons
  • Player-count hover customization

Server List

Restart Automation (THE SERVER NEEDS ITS OWN SCRIPT, more on WIKI)

Keep server restarts predictable and friendly.

  • Scheduled automatic restarts
  • Configurable warning times
  • Countdown messages
  • Pre-restart commands
  • Manual restart scheduling and cancellation

Restart Scheduler

Custom Commands

Create your own commands without writing a mod.

Custom commands can be configured with structured actions and managed through Paradigm's configuration or dashboard editor.

Perfect for server information, links, shortcuts, rules, and other small server-specific commands.

Modular by Design

Dont need part of Paradigm? Turn it off.

Modules and commands can be configured individually, and built-in command roots can be enabled or disabled through the dashboard or in config.

# Paradigm 2.5.3

### New Features

  • Added NeoForge support for Minecraft 26.1.2, with its own Java 25 build target.
  • Added native /workbench and /enderchest commands, with /craft and /ec aliases. Commands use existing permission checks and toggles; the Ender Chest opens the player's actual inventory.
  • Replaced player /invsee and /endersee chat listings with live, read-only native inventory GUIs across all maintained loaders. Inspected items retain native metadata, NBT and data components; console inspection keeps its text output.
  • Resynchronized the viewer's own equipment after blocked inspection clicks and creative inventory packets to prevent client-side offhand ghost items.
  • Added safe, persistent player nicknames with /nick <nickname>, /nick off, staff /nick set and /nick reset, /nick list, and /realname lookup.
  • Added {display_name}, {nickname}, and {real_name} placeholders. Nicknames appear in custom chat and supported TAB display names without changing account names, UUIDs, permissions, or moderation targets.
  • Added nickname information to /whois and Dashboard moderation player details.
  • Added /paradigm rank display <group|auto> and a Dashboard setting for choosing an active directly assigned group for presentation only. Unavailable or expired selections fall back to automatic group selection.
  • Added optional per-group chatNameFormat and chatMessageFormat overrides, including existing hex colors, gradients, and bold formatting, with Dashboard editing and previews.
  • Added per-server playtime accounting and tools for importing historical playtime statistics.
  • Added configurable item checks and consumption, group assignment/removal actions, broadcast actions, and transaction workflows for menus and custom commands.
  • Added legacy item metadata support to item requirements and menu icons.

### Dashboard

  • Fixed formatting previews showing literal gradient tags. Shared previews now render multi-color gradients with nested styles, including group prefixes and suffixes.
  • Rebuilt the Dashboard interface with improved navigation, responsive layouts, and consistent editors for configuration, permissions, menus, custom commands, holograms, tickets, and storage.
  • Improved permission group and track editors, including member pagination, staged changes, formatting previews, and explanations of weights, display selection, promotion order, and inheritance.
  • Preserved staged permission edits through discard operations and partial failures, and improved validation of menu, custom command, and action editor requests.
  • Added central Dashboard login for shared-server setups and improved reverse-proxy support, including prefixed URLs and session cookie paths.
  • Improved the distinction between page access and mutation permissions, server-scoped operations, and validation of remotely copied configuration.
  • Added persisted server runtime telemetry and clearer stale, missing, and unavailable metric states.
