Minecraft Mod for Fabric/Quilt loader. requires Fabric API or QSL.\ it started as a fork of Leaves Us In Peace for latest version, but i decided to clean up the dependencies to make it sustainable.
What it does
all of features are configurable under config folder of your minecraft instance.
by default
- Leaves will decay much faster.
- check for diagonal leaves, in addition to the usual check for adjacent leaves, so it's less likely to leave a stray leaf or two floating.
- handles azalea's two types of leaves. Mods (or mod users) can add compat for trees with multiple types of leaves by just adding a tag. Details on the wiki.
optional
- Leaves will ignore leaves of a different type when determining whether to decay or not.
- Leaves will ignore logs from different tree types when determining whether to decay or not. This will look for a tag by the name of the log and check if it contains the leaves doing the check. If no tag is found, any log will match instead (like in vanilla). Details on the wiki.

All Versions
+ Add Version- Full Changelog**: https://github.com/wb1016/QuickLeafDecay/compare/0.5.3...1.0.0
initial support for 26.1.
contains almost no changes.
removed all fabric mappings related code, migrated to Mojang unobfuscated source.
also resolved all deprecations!
fabric.mod.json.this release is very notable since it includes fix of [*hair loss of trees*](https://github.com/wb1016/QuickLeafDecay/issues/3) when Terralith is being used.\
this happens because Terralith tries to create variant of trees by only using vanilla tree logs and leaves. since limited variants are available, Terralith very often uses logs and leaves variant that doesn't match. and previous versions of QuickLeafDecay used to decay the kind of leaves that doesn't match. resulting *loss of hair* of naturally generated trees constantly.\
the fix is not decaying unmatched leaves by default. users who wants full function can edit config file on their config folder to enable. however, because old instances of Minecraft have old config already, users should manually edit or delete their config.
that was fast! thanks to previous update *the migration*.
- merged from upstream and refactored hard
- migrated from Quilt Mappings on Loom to Yarn Mappings to update faster
- now does not care about leaf type by default
