Simple Gunpowder

Adds gunpowder recipes, villager trades, piglin bartering, Abandoned Camps and End City loot, including bulk recipes for large amounts of gunpowder — ideal for fireworks and TNT, without relying on creeper farms or mob grinding.

Eight configurable gunpowder recipes are included:

Each recipe can be individually enabled or disabled through the configuration file.

🧑‍🌾 Villager Trades

Novice Fletcher and Cleric villagers can offer the following trades:

🏕️ Abandoned Camps (26.3+)

Abandoned Camps containers have a chance to contain gunpowder, scaled by tier:

🐷 Piglin Bartering

Piglins have a chance to barter gunpowder (8–16) when given a gold ingot.

🏛️ End City Chests

End city treasure chests have a chance to contain gunpowder (48–64).

⚙️ Configuration

The easiest way to configure SimpleGunpowder is in-game: open Mod Menu (Fabric) or the Config button in the mods list (NeoForge).

Each recipe can be individually toggled on or off. Leave your Minecraft world or restart the game for the changes to apply.

On a dedicated server, edit config/simplegunpowder.json on the server and restart the server.
