Smooth Scroll
- This fabricmc mod adds smooth scrolling to various screens in Minecraft, for example: chat, hotbar, creative inventory and server/world/resourcepack list and more!
Configuration
- You can customize any animation speeds
- Settings screen is available from the Mod Menu screen
- Config file is located at
.minecraft/config/smoothscroll.json- after editing the config file, press
F3+Tin a world (reload resources) to reload configNeoForge Compatibility
- after editing the config file, press
- You can use this mod on neoforge with the use of Sinytra Connector mod
- there is an issue where the game tells you it's incompatible when you start the game for the first time, ignore this and restart Minecraft
- There are no plans to make this mod natively run on neoforge by me, however if you are a developer, you can make a port by yourself by following the license rules

- added a config value "Expect Merged Scroll Values"
- Windows: true by default, anything other: false by default
- this makes touchpad/mouse scroll differentiation more biased towards mouse scroll events (more events are considered mouse-scrolled)
- fixed being able to scroll even if there are not enough items in creative screen
- improved translucent gui background texture behaviour of the creative screen

- touchpad scrolling is now improved
- if a scroll event is considered to be analog, the mod will not apply smoothness
- the mod now applies inertial scrolling after analog scroll events - this is done at the event handler level, so even screens which are not modified by this mod will be affected
- on windows, inertial scrolling is probably present at the os/driver level, so it is turned off by default in the config file
- sliders in the config menu are now wider

- added a resource pack compatibility mode
- if the resource pack modifies the size and/or the position of the textures through shaders, this option ensures, they are sized and positioned correctly
- introduces a small artifact, which is very noticeable with vanilla textures (mojang, pls fix)
- improved mouse slot selection when scroll position is not aligned with rows
- improved hotbar performance when static selector option is turned on (now renders hotbar twice instead of three times)
- if the config file is of a newer format, it will not overwrite and read it, it will now only use the default values instead
- a whole bunch of internal changes (mostly due to obfuscation removal)

- the scrollbar now scrolls smoothly too
- slightly improved scrolling widget smooth scrolling
- added text field widget smooth scrolling
- added the ability to scroll using the mouse wheel on top of most text fields
- you can customize the scroll amount, smoothness and cursor margin (how much space should be there between the field border and text cursor)
- this feature also changes the vanilla scrolling behaviour, which scrolled by one character if you scrolled past the right border and by an entire text field if scrolled left - this behaviour can be brought back with an option in the config file/menu
