Introduction
Hi, everyone! This mod adds some interesting features that make gameplay less tedious for those who enjoy casual play and want less red tape in the game’s economy. And that’s exactly why I created this mod for fans of a more laid-back gaming experience (economically speaking).
Recommendations:
- Updated version of Fabric Loader
- Updated version of Fabric API
- Updated version of Mod Menu (Optional)
- Updated version of YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL) (Optional/Not required)
What does the Villager PLUS mod offer?
The central theme of this mod is to provide unlimited purchases of various items from Villagers in Minecraft. That is the mod’s main purpose. There are many options in the mod, and you can enable and disable them all, configuring them however you prefer. BUT that’s not all.
It includes some QoL features from famous mods like FallingTree & VeinMiner, with fewer features and greater simplicity. And that’s already a 2-in-1 deal.
Important Notice
See
- The QoL features aren’t exclusive. The only difference is that they’re streamlined into a dedicated tab for those who are truly interested in using these options in the mod.
QoL Options for Villagers
Other features (QoL) are for the game’s villagers. Some of them are:
Passive Regeneration
Allows villagers to regenerate health naturally over time.
Delay to Start Regeneration (Seconds)
The amount of time a villager must go without taking damage before natural healing begins.
Regeneration Speed (Seconds)
The time interval between each cycle of dynamic health restoration.
Show Regeneration Particles.
Displays cheerful green particles when healing.
Regenerate Only While Sleeping
When enabled, villagers will only regain health while resting in a bed. (Requires Passive Regeneration to be active.)
Minimum Profession Level for Novice Regeneration (Levels 1–5)
Sets the minimum profession level a villager needs to gain access to passive healing. (Requires Passive Regeneration to be active.)
QoL Options for Players
These are optional game settings. Enable them if you prefer not to download other mods that provide the same functionality.
-
Enable Fast Mining
-
Fast Mining Block Limit
-
Enable Fast Wood Cutting
-
Fast Wood Cutting Block Limit
-
Leaf Volume Limit
-
Disable Wood Cutting Particles
Conclusion
These are just a few of the extra features, in addition to the main ones, which are: Infinite Stock, Trading XP Multiplier, Guaranteed Minimum XP, Demand Mitigation Rate, and other fun features in the (PLUS Options) subsection that can break the casual progression of the game. Download the mod and have fun with everything it has to offer. Thanks to everyone who read this far, and have a great time playing!

All Versions
+ Add Version- This update fixes the incompatibility between versions 26.2-26.3
This new update brings improvements and bug fixes for some important features. One of them involves XP. So, see what has been improved and fixed.
### Explanations:
In the beta update, inconsistencies were found in XP calculations not being guaranteed when using the **Trade XP Multiplier** and **Minimum Guaranteed XP**. This problem had existed since its implementation due to technical errors.
### Causes & Fixes:
- The **Trade XP Multiplier** and **Minimum Guaranteed XP** were not working due to a **non-functional** implementation. The solution was to migrate to a non-destructive approach, allowing the native cycle of version 26.3 to process villager progression without interrupting the game flow.
## Implementations:
- Automatic Restock Delay
- Daily Restock Limit
## Improvements & Adjustments
1. With the XP feature fixes, a visual implementation was added to inject the calculation of the multiplier and the XP floor directly into the visual bar, reflecting the real gain immediately in the client’s visual interface.
2. **Minimum Guaranteed XP** (**Floor**): Adjusts the base trade value to ensure a minimum reward before the multiplier.
3. **Trade XP Multiplier** (**Multiplier**): Multiplies the adjusted base, ensuring proportional and predictable XP orbs.
4. All XP logic has been wrapped in exception handling (**try-catch**), preventing crashes and ensuring that the game uses native values as a safety fallback in case of inconsistencies.
## Conclusion
Thanks for reading this far. Now everyone can enjoy a consistent and predictable gameplay in this version. Have fun! :)
This update brings a new feature for testing. It will be added in the next more stable update.
What's New:
- Automatic Restock Delay
- Daily Restock Limit
Obsolete Feature:
- The **Free Quick Mining** has been removed. The **Save Mining Chance** implementation was introduced to replace this feature. Quick Mining is now officially removed.
## Conclusion
To test the new feature, just enable the **BETA** option in the **GENERAL** tab. If it's disabled, the options will be grayed out and not usable in the game.
Thanks for reading this far. Stay tuned for the **more stable update**. Have fun playing! :)
New Mod update for the latest Minecraft version 26.3.
- Some code improvements and refactoring
- Note**: Some YACL options won't work in this version. Please, I recommend using the **json** settings that the mod uses to save default settings for using many features.
Go to the
``
/.minecraft/config
``folder and look for _villager-plus.json_. Configure all the options you want to use.
Wait for the new, **more stable update** if you prefer. Thanks!
### Bugs:
- Fixed a bug with the villager bell trade (specifically for armorers) where there was a price inconsistency when using demand mitigation, making the emerald purchase appear ghosted or inaccessible with high demand.
- Fixed a bug in the update checker where external components were missing, causing the download option to always be available even when the current version of the mod was installed.
### Improvements:
- Demand mitigation has been improved and is now more consistent using decimals.
## Explanations:
Demand mitigation has a base cap, and some trades have a base price. Unlike discounts, it works completely differently from any base calculation. The base price influences the demand increase. The lower the base price, the less noticeable the mitigation. If you want total consistency for demand, turn it off completely so there’s no demand increase.
_Just a quick update before the bug fixes for the latest version of Minecraft._
### What's New:
<details>
<summary>Trading XP Multiplier</summary>
- XP multipliers are available through the mod menu.
</details>
I hope you enjoy the new features. **Thank you!**
- Custom Enchantment Options**: Now compatible with **[Visible Traders](https://modrinth.com/mod/visible-traders)** and **[Trade Cycling](https://modrinth.com/mod/trade-cycling)**. Enchantments above the maximum level (Level 5) can be obtained by using the sliders in the Villager PLUS menu.
- Beta Tab Removed**: The beta tab has been removed. New features will be added to their respective categories using a toggle button to enable and disable existing features.
- Trade Multiplier Temporarily Disabled**: The Trade Multiplier option has been temporarily disabled until it is '_fixed_' or removed in future updates.
- New 'Available' Options**: For now, **Trade XP Multiplier** and **Minimum Guaranteed XP** are disabled in this version. They will be available soon in a new stable update. **Disable Golem Retaliation** is a new option available. Turn it off and on as you wish if you don’t want Iron Golems to chase you.
## Incompatibility Safeguards:
In this version, there are some safety measures in place to ensure smooth gameplay with third-party mods.
- QOL Player Tab**: The QOL Player category is automatically disabled when using mods such as **[FallingTree](https://modrinth.com/mod/fallingtree)** and **[VeinMiner](https://modrinth.com/mod/veinminer)**. For players who prefer to use both, a safeguard will be activated that disables all options in the QOL Player category, ensuring that Villager PLUS does not interfere and preserving each player’s personal preferences.
## Improvements:
- Rapid Wood Cutting now cuts Nether tree trunks.
- Added a particle effect option to enable or disable when cutting trunks. (Enabled by default).
- Passive Healing Customization:** A new slider lets you set the minimum profession level (Novice to Master) required for villagers to heal passively. Additionally, the UI now automatically grays out sub-options if general regeneration is disabled, complete with clear dependency warnings (⚠️ REQUIREMENT:).
- New Sequential "Checking Pipeline":** The server-side logic has been completely restructured! Passive healing now runs smoothly every game tick, filtering conditions in a strict sequence: Global Healing ➡️ Damage Delay ➡️ Bed Usage ➡️ Profession Level.
- Advanced Forge (BETA):** You can now customize the maximum enchantment cap that Armorers, Weaponsmiths, and Toolsmiths can sell directly via the configuration file, adding even more value to the end-game economy!
- Dynamic Reputation & Economy:** The system now handles both positive values (triggering automatic discounts/deflation) and negative values (triggering price increases/inflation). If left at 0, standard Minecraft Vanilla behavior takes over seamlessly, fully preserving mechanics like Hero of the Village and permanent zombie curing discounts.
- Bad Gossip Blocking:** Features a surgical new check that intercepts negative reputation points, preventing villagers from holding an eternal grudge against the player if you accidentally hit them. The vanilla Decay system remains untouched, allowing time to naturally clear your history.
- Optimization & Stability:** Restructured code introduces "Fall-Fast" micro-performance optimizations to save CPU cycles when updating entire village AIs. It also features crash-proofing to ensure full compatibility with heavy AI optimization mods (like Lithium).
⚠️ Compatibility Note: We have identified a critical conflict with the Visible Traders mod. A preventative hard lock has been added to the Fabric initializer to prevent crashes until a permanent structural fix is implemented in a future update.
- Added a price multiplier feature to the beta configuration menu, allowing players to customize villager trade prices.
- Since this feature is still in beta, values should be adjusted carefully to avoid excessively high or unrealistically low prices.
- Configuration options are available through the in-game settings menu for easier access and customization.
- The mod is currently under review before the stable release. If bugs or compatibility issues occur, disable the mod temporarily and remove it from the mods folder if necessary. Please wait for the stable version for the most reliable experience.
- Leaf Volume Limit**:
- Introduced a _Quality of Life_ (QoL) setting that allows players to set a maximum limit on the volume of leaves harvested simultaneously during **Rapid Wood Cutting**. This prevents accidental destruction of nearby trees or builds made of wood and leaves.
- Permanent Tool Usage Options**:
- Added a configuration option to toggle durability consumption for tools when using Rapid Wood Cutting and Quick Mining, allowing for a more customized gameplay experience.
- QoL Config System Expansion (ADJUSTMENT)**:
- Replaced and introduced multiple new adjustment options within the configuration menu to expand player customization.
### Bug Fixes & Enhancements
- Rapid Wood Cutting Fix**:
- Fixed a major issue where cutting trees would accidentally trigger the collapse of nearby villager houses and wooden structures. The mechanic is now smarter, targeting only the selected tree and leaving surrounding structures perfectly intact.
- Passive Regeneration Fix**:
- Resolved a bug where **Nitwits** and **Unemployed** villagers were passive-regenerating health. Passive regeneration is now restricted exclusively to working villagers, as originally intended.
- UI Improvements (ADJUSTMENT)**:
- Optimized the In-Game Configuration Interface for a smoother navigation flow, featuring visual and usability refinements.
### Optimizations & Performance
- Leaf Decay Optimization**:
- Fixed and optimized the leaf decay processing during Rapid Wood Cutting. Particle processing is now much more efficient, significantly reducing lag spikes on large trees.
- General Code Cleanup**:
- Implemented various minor code refinements to improve overall stability, fix hidden bugs, and ensure a smoother gameplay experience.
### Dependencies & APIs
- Fabric Loader**: Recommended version: 0.19.3 (Latest).
- Fabric API**: Core requirement for all mod mechanics.
- Yet Another Config Lib (YACL)**: Native integration to power the new graphical in-game configuration menu.
- Mod Menu**: Official support added! Easily tweak settings without leaving the game.
### New Mechanics
- Quick Mining [NEW] [QoL]**
- Added mass mining capabilities, allowing you to clear out entire ore veins with a single click.
- Note**: _This feature is disabled by default to preserve the vanilla pacing, but can be toggled on instantly._
- _Fully customizable_ (adjust the block-breaking limit per click to balance your gameplay).
- Warning**: _Optimized to prevent lag and crashes, but we recommend avoiding overlapping usage with massive automated mining or vein miner mods._
- Rapid Wood Cutting [NEW] [QoL]**
- Added mass wood cutting mechanics, letting you fell entire trees swiftly with one click.
- Note**: _This feature is disabled by default and can be turned on whenever you like._
- _Fully customizable_ parameters for block count limits and leaf-decay radius triggers.
### Tweaks & Quality of Life (QoL)
- The New villager-plus.json File**:
- We re-architected configuration management. The mod now generates a brand-new villager-plus.json file. Direct file modification is entirely optional — perfect for server hosts or advanced configurations — while normal users can just use the in-game UI.
- Experimental BETA Tab**:
- Sneak peek at unreleased features directly from the config screen. Keep in mind: Experimental options are subject to sudden shifts based on vanilla core updates.
- Remodeled Villager Passive Regeneration**:
- Enhanced authority over how your villagers heal. You can now define custom cooldowns between heals, adjust generation velocity, mask particle effect behaviors, or shut down passive regeneration entirely.
- Smart Notification Flow**:
- The greeting broadcast is now restricted to a single instance post-installation to prevent chat flood. Additionally, out-of-date notifications will now softly prompt legacy clients to upgrade just once.
- Under-the-Hood Optimization**:
- Code architectures have undergone heavy audits. Expect peak server-side stability and minimal frame-time deviations.
### 💡 Pro-Tip for Players
> Since Quick Mining and Rapid Wood Cutting start disabled by default, head directly into your Mod Menu configuration dashboard in-game (or check the optional config/villager-plus.json folder) to tailor these tools precisely to your playstyle!
- Addition of Visual Healing Effects**: Aesthetic adjustments to the villager's healing interface, featuring vanilla particle effects for a better visual experience.
- Regeneration Cooldown Fix**: Adjustment to the implementation of the 5-second cooldown system for passive regeneration, preventing instant heals in cases of continuous damage.
- Performance Optimization**: Code review and optimization to ensure the mod remains lightweight and efficient.
### Features:
- Infinite Stock**: Complete removal of trade locking due to depletion (Red X mark).
- Locked Prices**: Total disabling of the high-demand artificial inflation mechanics.
- Passive Healing**: Automatic full health restoration for villagers after accidental damage.
- No Hurt**: No price inflation due to vandalism, bad reputation, or gossip.
