This mod adds around 20 new foods (and counting). Most of these have stages of consumption, like a vanilla cake. They can each be placed while crouching (in any direction, even upside down) and eaten like a cake, or simply eaten normally. Some even give you fun status effects. Care has been taken to balance their crafting recipes and hunger values with vanilla food in version 1.5+. To find crafting recipes, I recommend installing Just Enough Items (or similar).

How to Install Waffles Placeable Foods (Mod)
Waffles Placeable Foods by WilliamWaffle is verified for Fabric, Forge, Neoforge across Minecraft versions 1.19.2, 1.19.3, 1.20.1, 1.20.4, 1.20.5, 1.20.6, 1.21.1, 1.21.4 (latest release: 1.6, file size: 239 KB). Follow the steps below to install it safely from ModCraft.tv:
- Click the Download button above and select your Minecraft version (1.19.2, 1.19.3, 1.20.1, 1.20.4, 1.20.5, 1.20.6, 1.21.1, 1.21.4) and platform (Fabric, Forge, Neoforge).
- Make sure you have the compatible loader or environment installed for Fabric, Forge, Neoforge.
- Move the downloaded Waffles Placeable Foods file into your Minecraft
.minecraft/modsfolder and launch the game.
