### Xray
- New see-through mode**: blocks turn transparent instead of disappearing. You choose this mode or the classic hide mode on first start. The transparency slider defaults to 30 %.
- Glowing ores**: xray blocks are drawn at full brightness, so they no longer appear black.
- See-through water and lava** (option), also with Sodium.
- Per-block transparency**, e.g. make dirt almost invisible.
- Height filter**, with "Layer up/down" keys that move it block by block.
- Labels** on blocks showing their height (Y level) and distance.
- Pulsing highlight** around nearby xray blocks.
- Custom presets**, saved from your block list and shareable as a code.
- Bigger structures preset**: geodes, Ancient City and Trial Chamber blocks.
- Live preview**: changes show up in the world while the config screen is open.
- Sodium support** for see-through mode.
### New plugins
- Cave Mode**: makes the surface see-through so you can see caves below.
- HUD** (installed by default):
- Status icons, ore counter, coordinates, biome, light level, time, FPS and tool durability.
- Ore compass**: points to the nearest ore of a chosen kind.
- Radar**: shows nearby ores around you.
- Layout editor**: drag every element anywhere and resize it with the mouse wheel.
- Mod Compatibility**: supports 14 ore mods for 26.x and detects the ores of unknown mods automatically. Supported mods:
- Mythic Metals, Tech Reborn, Biomes O' Plenty Legacy Reborn, SimpleOres, MoreOres+, Many More Ores and Crafts, RayvaxMod More Ores
- TheElementGuy's More Metals, Dimensional Ores, Resource Nether Ores, Skniro's Nether and End Ores, NetherEx, Energized Power, The Sift
### ESP
- Tracers** to the nearest diamonds, ancient debris, spawners and chests.
- Minimum vein size** filter.
- Xray override** and custom colors.
- Entity xray**: players, mobs and items glow through walls.
### Veinminer
- Fixed**: only one block was mined.
- Tree feller**: fells a whole tree at once.
- Shape modes**: 3×3 tunnel, 1×2 tunnel and stairs down.
- Auto pickup**: drops go straight into your inventory.
- Mining statistics**.
- Tool protection**: warns before your tool would break. Mine again within 5 seconds to confirm.
- Spread over several ticks**, so big veins don't cause lag spikes.
### Config screen
- Vanilla-style design**, with scrolling, search over all settings and tooltips on every option.
- Settings sub-pages**: General, Presets and Bug Report.
- Undo button** for your last change.
- Tutorial** the first time you open it.
- Hotbar and hand** are hidden while it is open.
- Pause menu button** sits directly below "Save and Quit".
- Mod Menu** integration.
- Block lists**: right-click removes a block, left-click changes its color.
- Profiles** store all your settings and switch with a key. A **settings code** lets you share your whole configuration.
- Bug report page**: live game log, list of installed mods and copyable system info.
- Translations**: English, Deutsch, Español, Français, Italiano, Português (Brasil), Nederlands, Polski, Русский and Türkçe. The language can be changed in Settings.
### Controls
- Quick menu**: hold **Z**, point at an action and release. Actions: toggle xray, switch mode, preset or profile, Cave Mode, ESP, hitboxes and open the config.
- New key bindings**: Cave Mode, next profile, layer up/down and open config.
### Server and admin
- Permissions**:
- Rules per feature (everyone / ops only / disabled) and overrides per player.
- LuckPerms permission nodes (
xtoxray.feature.<feature>,xtoxray.admin). - Blocked blocks**: blocks players cannot see with xray or ESP.
- Usage log**, plus an optional **Discord webhook** for it.
- Xray detection**: alerts admins when someone mines suspiciously many diamonds, emeralds or ancient debris compared to stone.
- Daily time limit** and **allowed dimensions** for xray, ESP and Cave Mode. Operators are exempt.

### Other
- Update check**: shows a hint on the title screen when Modrinth has a newer version. Can be turned off.
- Fixed** a crash at start caused by the plugin system.
