Zombie Horde
Zombie Horde turns vanilla zombies into a scalable siege system for Fabric.
Zombies do not simply run toward the player anymore. Depending on the selected settings and progression, they can break blocks, place blocks, build stairs, create bridges, sprint, jump across gaps, and use different combat roles to keep survival challenging over long play sessions.
Core Gameplay Features

Zombies can destroy valid obstacles to open paths toward players. -
Block Placing AI (Hardmode)
Builder zombies can place blocks to create vertical routes, overcome obstacles, and apply pressure to defensive structures. -

Sprinting and Gap Jumping
Zombies can sprint while pursuing players and jump across small gaps. -
Special Zombie Variants
Multiple variants with different combat profiles are available, including Normal, Tool, Brute, Scout, and Trapper zombies. -

+ Add Version## Overview
Zombie Horde 1.3.0 introduces new zombie movement abilities, a new zombie type, an improved configuration menu, Better stability and reliability, expanded difficulty controls, and additional server administration commands.
## Gameplay Changes
### New Zombie Movement Abilities
Zombies can now:
- Build stairs to reach higher areas and overcome elevation changes.
- Sprint and jump across small gaps and reach slightly higher positions.
These abilities make zombie waves more dynamic and reduce the effectiveness of simple defensive positions.
### New Trapper Zombie
A new zombie type, the **Trapper**, has been added to Zombie Horde.
The Trapper expands the variety of enemies that can appear during a wave and adds another threat for players to deal with.
### New Zombie Animations
New animations have been added to improve the appearance and behavior of zombies during gameplay.
## Configuration Menu
The configuration menu has been redesigned and now provides two configuration modes.
### Simple Mode
Simple Mode is intended for quick and easy setup. It contains the most important settings required to configure a Zombie Horde with minimal effort.
### Custom Mode
Custom Mode provides more detailed control over the behavior and difficulty of zombie waves. It is intended for server owners who want to create a more specific gameplay experience.
## Difficulty Settings
The previous strength-based configuration has been replaced with separate settings for more precise control.
The following options are now available:
- Zombies per Five Minutes**
- Zombie Damage**
- Zombie Health**
These settings can be adjusted independently. This allows server owners to create different difficulty profiles, such as large groups of weaker zombies or smaller groups of stronger zombies.
## Server Commands
New commands have been added for server administration and Zombie Horde management.
They provide server owners and administrators with additional control over zombie waves directly from the server.
## Wave Join Despawn Function
A new function has been added to handle zombies when a player joins an active wave.
When enabled, zombies can be despawned as a player joins the wave. This provides server owners with more control over how existing zombies are handled when players join an ongoing event.

- The new Trapper zombie.
- New animations.
