**Afterburner 0.2.1 (Forge 26.3 only)**
**Faster dropped items**
- A dropped item lying still no longer re-checks the blocks around it every tick. It remembers whether its box is free of blocks and that nothing around it acts on it, until a block next to it changes, or it moves, burns or freezes. This also works for items next to a chunk border.
- Blocks that act on entities (cactus, magma, bubble columns, redstone ore, big dripleaf and the like) and chunks holding a shulker box are handled exactly as before.
- In a test with 1,600 resting items on a laptop (three interleaved runs against 0.2.0), the CPU spent in the item tick was 25 to 43% lower (36% pooled), and the whole server thread 17 to 35% lower (28% pooled). A server with few resting items will see little difference.
Everything else is the same as 0.2.0. Other builds are unchanged.
