**Afterburner 0.2.4 (Forge 26.3)**
**Fixed**
- `/locate structure` typed by a player could answer "Could not find a structure" when the structure is there. The search runs off the server thread, and a chunk it needed far from players was let go before it was made. It now holds that chunk until it's there. Checked: a player's search and the server's own search, from the same spot, give the same village.
**New** (both on by default, both can be turned off in the settings)
- Cheaper light snapshots: after light changes, other threads get only the sections that changed laid over an earlier copy, instead of a fresh copy of all the light. Less garbage, fewer stutters. Checked against vanilla's copy on 12,500 snapshots: no differences.
- Reused chunk save buffers: saving and loading chunks reuses its working arrays. Less garbage while exploring; the saved chunks are the same.
Together these cut the garbage made while flying over new land from about 367 to 242 MB/s and the garbage-collection pauses longer than 20 ms from 67 to 48 (Fabric 26.3, same code).
**Other**
- Tested on Forge 26.3 (66.0.10): real client launches into a world, and a dedicated server start, with no errors.
