Afterburner 0.2.0. One version number for every build now. What a build contains depends on its Minecraft version.
**Changed**
- Far terrain (where the build has it) starts off: switch it on in Options > Video Settings > Afterburner. Far terrain saved by earlier versions is ignored, and a chunk copied before its light was worked out is no longer saved (that caused gray boxes and black wedges at the horizon).
- Page links, icon, license and third-party notices are in the jar.
**New (Minecraft 26.3)**
- Slow connections: `/afterburner slow` and `/afterburner net` on a Forge 26.3 server, and "smaller chunks from Afterburner servers" in the Fabric 26.3 client (off by default): about a third fewer bytes for chunks seen the first time, two thirds to four fifths fewer for chunks seen before.
- Accurate ping, and (Fabric) Clicks at Once.
- Forge 26.3 / Fabric 26.3 chunk link: size and rate limits on what a player can send, the game version in the hello, and a time limit on packing.
- Forge 26.3 server: faster collisions (a chunk section remembers which special blocks it might hold instead of the game scanning its palette on every lookup; answers unchanged), and sleeping hoppers, furnaces, campfires and brewing stands double-check themselves every few seconds so a change another mod makes without telling anyone is noticed.
- Forge 26.3 server, off by default: settings by dimension in `config/afterburner-dimensions.properties`, separately for the Overworld, the Nether, the End and other dimensions. With `dimensionItems`: how long a dropped item lasts, how close items must merge and how many item entities a chunk may hold. With `farMobAi`: the distance from a player at which mobs start thinking less often.
**Fixed**
- Forge: a rare server crash while generating new terrain (`featureList is null`, a race in Forge's own lazy value that parallel generation can hit). Afterburner asks again, and falls back to one thread if a parallel step fails.
- Forge servers logged a mixin config `ERROR` about a missing minimum version at every start.
