## [1.0.9] — FIW Tools integration
Fabric 1.21.11 is the main version of FIW Bosses and the only one that integrates with **FIW Tools**. Bosses can now wield and drop fully custom FIW Tools items by id.
### Added
- **FIW Tools integration (`toolId`)** — boss/minion equipment slots and loot entries accept a `toolId` that resolves to a live FIW Tools item. The boss equips or drops that item with its custom name, lore, enchantments, attributes, abilities, curses, and imbuements intact. Works in boss equipment, per-phase equipment, minion equipment, and all loot tables.
- **`toolId` validation** — on `/boss reload` and at server start, every loaded config is checked against the FIW Tools item registry, and any unknown `toolId` is reported in a single clear log line (catches typos instead of silently skipping the drop).
### Changed
- The FIW Tools bridge now targets the current public API (`isLoaded()` / `listIds()` / `getItemStack(...)`) and logs how many FIW Tools items are registered when it detects the mod.
- The bridge stays fully reflection-only with no hard dependency — FIW Bosses loads and runs identically whether or not FIW Tools is installed, and `toolId` references are skipped without errors when it's absent.
### Requirements
- Minecraft 1.21.11 · Fabric Loader 0.18.1+ · Fabric API 0.141.3+1.21.11+ · Java 21
- Install on both client and server (not server-side only).
- FIW Tools integration is optional — install [FIW Tools](https://modrinth.com/mod/fiw-tools) (Fabric Loader 0.19.2+) to use `toolId` references.
---
*Boss/minion configs stay cross-compatible across all FIW Bosses versions; only the Fabric 1.21.11 build resolves `toolId` references.*
