# Olaf's Relatively Placed Blocks 2.0.0 ## New - **Orthostats (vertical slabs).** Every slab, vanilla or from other mods, now has an orthostat version. It uses the slab's look, tool, drops and settings. To craft them, stack 3 slabs in a column; you get 6 orthostats. - **Mixed slabs.** Two different slabs can share one block space, one in each half. Two orthostats can do the same. - **Pots in front of barriers.** A flower pot (or potted plant) can now share a space with a fence, pane, wall or fence gate. It sits on your side of the line. Pack makers can add more blocks through the `relative_placement_beside_barrier` tag. - **New versions.** Minecraft 1.20.1 and 26.3 are now supported. ## Fence, pane, bar and wall connections - Barriers in half a shared space now line up with their neighbours. Before, their arms would stop short, poke through, or cross over at corners. - Corners, T-junctions and joins onto ordinary barriers now connect cleanly. - A new barrier placed next to a half-space barrier moves into the matching half, so the line stays straight. - If you break the block a barrier was sharing with, the barrier stays in line with its row. It only moves back to the middle once nothing in its line is left beside it. - When a shared-space barrier meets an ordinary line side-on, it runs straight into it. It no longer zig-zags. - Different kinds of barriers in the same space (for example a fence and panes) no longer cut across each other. Panes on either side of a T now connect properly. - Outlines, collision and the crosshair now match the shape you actually see. ## Fixes - Turning a space into a shared space no longer makes it flicker. - Clicking with an empty hand now works on blocks in a shared space, so gates open and levers and buttons flip. - An item use that failed on a block in a shared space no longer runs a second time. - **26.3:** the mining sound now plays from the block in the shared space. - **26.1 / 26.2 / 26.3:** fixed a crash that showed up as "Failed to load world" (it happened while the game set up the orthostat recipes).
