Waypointer 1.8.7 is here. This is mostly a cleanup update, massive code changes and architectural improvements, with some refactoring and assessment of comments.
Hopefully no issues occur!
Lots of attention to detail changes not mentioned here.
## Highlights
* New 3d route preview on the export screen. Enable in Settings -> Sharing -> Export screen.
* New appearance page in settings that consolidates all of the appearance options
* You can now choose dungeon waypoint types directly while adding or editing a waypoint, including secrets, Etherwarps, Dungeonbreaker, Superboom, pearls, items, and bats.
* `/wp import` now accepts route, settings, and (waypointer/odin) dungeon routes.
* New icons painted by me in Aseprite. I'm no artist, so if you have any better do feel free to make a PR ^_^
## Improved
* Large imports and exports now process off of the game thread (improves performance)
* Dungeon routes are smaller, and codes from earlier Waypointer versions still import.
* Importing a single route now keeps the name stored in its share code.
* Route and waypoint lists are easier to search, scroll, navigate with a keyboard, and use with narration.
* Waypoints, tracers, and edit outlines now remain visible through glass and other translucent blocks.
* Waypoint commands now use the same one-based waypoint numbers shown by `/wp list`. Route indices remain zero-based.
* Numeric settings reject invalid or out-of-range values
* Dungeon rooms now complete from the actionbar secret count instead of a green checkmark from the dungeon map.
* The Everything settings preset has been replaced with Disable All.
## Removed
* Removed the one-click community dungeon-route downloader and its first-dungeon prompt. Manual file imports remain available through `/wpd import <file>`. (Didn't feel right bundling someone else's hard work in my mod.)
* Removed the in-game dungeon route recorder and its test, reset, room, and waypoint commands. (Too imprecise)
* Removed route timers and personal-best tracking. (Useless, but can readd if requested. Also a bit unpolished and haven't planned on improving it.)
* Removed the seven waypoint-editor shortcuts added in 1.8.6. (These were not supposed to make it to prod lol)
## Compatibility
* Supports Minecraft 26.1.2 and 26.2; both builds require Java 25. No 1.21.11 release for this version.
