**Added**
- Added the high-level decay config section `[levelDecay]`, off by default: once an enchantment goes past its maximum level, its effective level is reduced along a curve so each extra level gives less, for cases where commands or other mods push enchantments to dozens or hundreds of levels.
- Measured the default decay curve in multiples of the enchantment's maximum level, so enchantments capped at I, III and V are weakened by the same proportion; the default curve is 2:90, 4:75, 6:65, 10:50, 15:40, 20:33, 40:20.
- Added an effective-level display to enchantment names when decay is enabled, which can be turned off with `showInName`; the codex detail page also shows where decay starts and reference values, and the in-game config screen has the matching options.
**Changed**
- Rewrote the descriptions of all 113 enchantments against their actual behavior, correcting numbers and trigger conditions that did not match in 87 of them and stating conditions that were never mentioned, such as fully charged attacks only or melee only; the Enchantment Codex shows the new descriptions.
- Toned down Destined Death and Blade of Death to match the original game: the max HP reduction goes from 25% to 10% and lasts 45 seconds, and the two still share one effect that does not stack.
- Changed Destined Death's burn to deal 2% of max HP plus 20% of the hit's damage over 2 seconds, previously 50% of the hit's damage plus 10% of current HP over 5 seconds; Blade of Death's burn goes from 75% to 50% of the hit's damage.
- Halved the burn damage of Destined Death and Blade of Death against bosses; bosses are detected by the `forge:bosses` and `carianstyle:bosses` tags and by an active boss health bar, and the `carianstyle:not_bosses` tag excludes entities.
- Changed Bedrock Blast to ask claim and protection mods before mining each extra block and skip any that are denied, so it no longer digs along stone into someone else's claim.
- Renamed the Recollections category in the Enchantment Codex to Remembrances.
- Replaced outdated names in the effect toggles and tunable value descriptions with the official enchantment and status effect names.
- Relabeled the two Black Flame Protection values by what they actually do: physical damage reduction and healing reduction.
- Improved the English codex: picking a level now turns formulas into numbers in English descriptions too, and text wraps by word with each sentence on its own line.
- Added a large explosion cloud to the explosions of Loretta's Greatbow and Loretta's Mastery; damage and radius are unchanged.
- Optimized damage-over-time handling when a player carries many such effects at once, for example wearing Warrior while being swarmed: all health loss in the same tick is applied in one go, so hybrid servers no longer slow down during long fights.
- Changed the license to CC BY-NC-SA 4.0.
**Fixed**
- Fixed the Dark Moon ring not showing on the client, and the status indicators of Moon of Nokstella, Forsaken Child of Darkness and Starscourge showing daytime at night.
- Fixed the flames of Destined Death and the black flame and frenzied flame enchantments not rendering with Oculus installed.
- Fixed Carian Phalanx and other glintblades dealing no damage to multi-part creatures such as the Ender Dragon.
- Fixed words being cut in half and the Reload Values button overflowing in the English codex.
**Upgrade notes**
- The network protocol is unchanged, but updating client and server together is recommended so the codex texts and numbers stay consistent.
- Untouched values in `config/carianstyle/enchantment_values.json` are replaced with the new defaults automatically, while edited values are kept; if Destined Death or Blade of Death values were edited, adjust them against the new numbers manually.
- High-level decay is off by default; nothing changes unless it is enabled.
