# 1.3.5
**Nation stars are fixed**
- Most nation capital stars never appeared. Two nations have no spawn point set, and reading their coordinates threw an error that silently discarded the whole batch they were fetched in — so only 14 of 199 nations ever loaded. Those same nations were then re-requested every second, forever, hammering the EarthMC API in the background. Both are fixed, and one bad record can no longer discard the towns, nations or players fetched alongside it.
**A quarter of the download, and much sharper borders**
- The mod is now **1.2 MB instead of 27 MB**. Country and state borders shipped as 26 MB of prebaked images plus 11 MB of duplicated text; they are now a single 872 KB geometry file.
- Borders are drawn as real lines instead of images, so they stay **crisp at every zoom** instead of going blurry as you zoom in. Zoomed out they are still smooth and fast — the whole map is drawn in one pass rather than thousands.
- Updating also reclaims the old border cache from your config folder, which had grown to around **100 MB** for an active player.
**Nation join range**
- Turn on the **⃝ button** in the top-right of any nation's panel to shade where a town could join that nation: 5k around the capital plus 1.5k around every one of its towns, drawn in the nation's own colour.
**Planning mode**
- A new map mode for laying out expansion. Pick a nation, then drop planned towns on the map and watch the join range grow around them.
- Planned towns appear as labelled pins (T1, T2 …) with matching counters in the top-left; hovering a counter highlights its pin on the map.
- A town that could not actually reach the nation turns **red** on both the pin and the counter, and does not extend the range — so a plan tells you straight away whether it works.
**Also**
- Player heads are now shown **by default** on the world map and minimap.
- Real heads for offline players, not just those online with you.
- Historical archive rebuilds nations from the snapshot date, with ±1 / ±10 day arrows.
- Alliances and meganations come live from the BreakTheBot registry.
- New **UI Scale** slider shrinks all of the mod's interfaces.
- The search bar supports select-all, copy, paste, cut and drag-to-highlight.
Available for Minecraft **1.21.11**, **26.1.x**, and **26.2**.
